How to Choose the Perfect Wall Bars: A Guide to Help You Get Started!
Are you in the market for a new wall bar? With so many options available, it can be overwhelming to choose the right one.
But don't worry – we're here to help!
Before you make your purchase, there are a few things to consider.
First and foremost, make sure you have enough room in your space. The minimum height for installing a wall bar is 4 inches higher than the height of the wall bars itself. If you're looking for a wall bar with a pull-up bar, you'll want to make sure there is approximately 25 cm/9.8 inches of space between the bar and the ceiling to allow for comfortable pull-ups.
It's also important to consider the type of wall you'll be mounting your wall bar on. Mounting is not possible on plasterboard, OSB, or similar walls.
Each BenchK gymnastic wall bar is designed to be mounted to the wall, and the BenchK Series 5 wall bars offer two mounting options: to the wall or expansion floor-ceiling. Both methods are equally safe, but it's up to you to choose the one that's best for your needs. Please note that the customer is responsible for deciding and taking responsibility for the wall bar mounting method.
When it comes to wall thickness, if you're installing with the use of Fischer expansion bolts available from BenchK, the obligatory wall thickness is 12 cm/4.7 inches. For other installation methods, it's only a recommendation.
Each wall bar comes with a paper assembly instruction, which includes a QR code in the top right corner that will redirect you to a video instruction. This is especially helpful if you're planning to install the wall bars on drywall – make sure to check out our video installation instruction.
